wanted change

Most people especially teenagers longed for change. Life without change seems to be very boring. But the worst is to see someone changed not for the better but for worse. This is not only true to physical, mental, social or spiritual changes in our lives but also changes in our environment. How we wish to attain changes even with what we own (our properties). We long to be updated in everything, we long to be more modern every now and then, we desire to have changes or more high tech in every aspect of our lives. In other words, we don’t want to be left behind if ever possible or we don’t like to remain the same. In other words, we wanted change day by day.
For me personally, I really want to change, change for the better not necessarily to be “inwith my friends but to be “in” in God’s sight. I may not please everyone but what matters most is that I am pleasing in God’s eyes. I am trying to follow God’s leading in my daily life because I know that with Him in my life, I can possibly change for the better.

reflection: my new learnings

Another grading had passed and I'm glad that I have learned new lessons in our ICT class... I never knew how to use tags until we finally had that lesson which lighten up my mind with these things.
Although we had a lot of disturbances during 2nd grading (like the sabayang pagbigkas), still our teacher tried her best for us to cope up with the other sections. We had fast discussions and everything and yet we've understand it by the activities our teacher gave us. Happy to know these things cause I know that I can use these in future especially in the field of technology.
Two more gradings before we finally end our four year high school life and I hope to learn more during that two grading periods. And probably, I will enjoy my last days in my beloved school, "ISNHS":)

promoting digital literacy through english proficiency

To take advantage in this world now a days, you must be digital literate. We are now living in a digital world and we can't deny the fact that through english proficiency, we can promote digital literacy.
There were so many languages in the world, but english is the foremost of them all. It has become the medium for globalization. Through this, we can advocate digital literacy as the set of attitudes, understandings and skills to handle and communicate information and knowledge effectively.

Chemergy

Chemergy is the combination of ideas in chemistry and science clubbing for a common result. We all know that chemistry is the study of composition, structure, properties, and interactions of matter. This plays a big role in our lives.
Maybe a lot of people doesn't know the importance of it, but through science clubbing, they are using chemistry on their unending activities like in our school to let students know its real importance. Science club is a very active organization. It is a means of bonding together students in order to develop their knowledge and skills to come up with a enhancing project that will embellish their mental ability to contemplate for positive attitude on how they will learn
to love science, specifically chemistry as their source of intelligence. If students will learn to interact with larger groups wherein there will be a continuous flow of ideas, that is now what we call synergy.

chers enseignants et enseignantes, merci

In every students life, there is someone who gives them light. A light that will direct them for their forthcoming.
Teachers sacrifices a lot. They are sacrificing and spending most of their time for us students for they want us to be something someday, they want us to be a successful one.
I wouldn't be something without them. Teachers mold me for who I am now for they've been part of my life as my second mom. A million thanks to all of you dear teachers. Thanks for all your advocates, your truly a real hero.
For almost ten years of studying, I can say that I've learned a lot. I admire you for everything not just for your lectures but also for your advises and patience for us "pasaway" students. Sorry if we had that attitude but we're just making our high school life meaningful and happy so we make every second count. Again, thanks to our hero.

Reflection: The things I've learned

First Grading period was already over. But , the things I've learned, hope it will remain. :D
Before, I had no idea about the history of internet, the internet architectures, software pioneers, Philippine pioneers and a lot more about internet . But because of our subject ICT IV, now I know all these things.
As part of our subject, we participated to the nutri jingle competition and fortunately, WE WON. Its because of teamwork and off course, the support of our teacher, Ma'am Evelyn Vera Cruz. :)
After the competition, classes resumed, and again I've learned a lot. I'm fond of surfing the net and  I know somehow that I can apply my new knowledge about it.

I encountered difficulty on memorizing the internet timeline. That's my weakness. I'm good at analysis but not on memorization.

Because I encountered that problem, I just tried to analyze it and make some key words so that I'll always remember those things and it worked

Moving on, I will try my best to surpass my knowledge about internet.

Hero of my life

It was nice having someone who will always there, who serves as your hero in your everyday life. A lot of heroes was around me but there was a special someone whom I know was the best thing I had now.

I don't know why I'm considering you as my hero. All I know is that you're always there to comfort me when I need you, making me laugh when I'm sad and sharing stupid things so that I'll forget for awhile all my problems. You're saving me from trouble times which maybe makes you as a real hero of mine. :)

What else can I wish, you're with me, as a special friend. That's all what I needed, and you gave it, so thanks for that special gift.  You know yourself and I hope your happy that you were the subject of this post and you deserve it. I do believe that you were there as long as I need you and remember that I'll always love you.

My special friend *****, hope you'll never leave me. I don't want to lost the hero of my life. You're my friend and you're my hero.

Just another ordinary speech

State of the nation address or SONA is an annual event in the Republic of the Philippines in which the President reports on the status of the nation. Here, the president will state his accomplishments and his plans for the following days.
Last July 25, 2011, president Benigno S. Aquino III delivered his second SONA at the House of Representatives, Batasan Pambansa Complex, Quezon City.
Many people are not contented, some doesn't mind, and some agreed.
What does his SONA contains? Is it catchy? Are all he said was truth? Is it enough?
For his one year of administration, he had done a lot based on his SONA. But, is it right for him to compare his achievements with the past administration? No!!!! That should not be your attitude. Instead of making some comparisons, why can't you just focus on your plans and projects. As we all know, President Aquino haven't proved his self yet. So he should do something for the development of our very own country. That's he's job, to make some change, to make our country better than it was. I think he still don't have enough plans and he must work on it as soon as possible.

breastfeeding is a must

Breast milk is said to be the best milk that a mother can give to her baby. Like the commercial before which goes this way: "Ang gatas ng aso ay para sa tuta, ang gatas ng baboy ay para sa biik, eh ang gatas ng baka? Para sa anak ko? Hindi hayop ang anak ko"

As  a  responsible parent,  you should give you babies  right, enough  and  exclusive nutrition  for them to have a  good health. Provide them the nutrients they need. Babies are treasures!!! They are gift from God and as a  sign  of giving  thanks to Him,  mothers should take care for them. Mothers!!!  Go for breastfeeding,  its  the  best way of feeding your beloved babies. Your baby is not animal  anyway,  so  why  are  you  going to give your babies some powdered  and  concentrated commercial milks from cows? Its even more expensive and  those  milk doesn't have antibodies that could help your bodies a lot. Cow milk allergy  (CMA) is  an immunologically mediated adverse reaction to one or more cow's milk proteins. Rarely  is  it  severe  enough  to cause  death.
At  this  time,  we  should   be   more  practical.  Lets  think  for  some   other  ways   to conserve  money  and  at   the  same  time   more  nutritious  milk  that  can  be  given  to  your   babies.  Lets  promote  the  usage  of  breastfeeding,  its  right  for the budget and right nutrition.

Just An Opinion

Dear Mr. President,
It's a great opportunity to lend you a letter. I want to commend you in everything you've done for our country. A lot of people are expecting much from you even though we think that you can not do all these things at the same time. Things can be accomplished step by step and we hope that you will continue doing your job. I'm not in favor with that RH Bill. I don't think it can help our country. It's just another useless LAW. It's not the contraceptives that can solve the problem of being over populated. It is on the mind of every single Filipino to think for their own future. If they'll know the things they should know, then it would be better. If you're going to legalize the use of contraceptives then the teens won't be afraid to experience sex knowing that they won't bear a child. But if you'll not permitting people to use it, they'll be thinking a thousand times before doing such thing.
To be honest, I'm still expecting more from you. One of my expectations is that your wise decision in choosing the right person to be assigned in different departments. I had observed that some of them are not doing their job well and they should be replaced by someone who is more deserving. In the law-making and in terms of justice, it was still unfair for those poor people. There were so many innocent people that became prisoners because they don't have enough money to pay for lawyers. I just want to suggest that the government should help these people to have lawyers for free. At this time, I cannot see anymore justice and I hope you'd be working on it. In every problem, there's a solution and I know that one of your job is to make some solutions to our country's problem. It's our time to be progressive and expect us to do our part. Together, we can make our country better. Since you've started it, you should finish it with a lot of change.
Mr. President, that would end my opinion and I hope that you will make your duty right, keep up the good work and good day to you.
